Greater Auckland is home to 35 regional parks, open for all the community to enjoy - making the most of the great outdoors and the natural flora and fauna of Aotearoa. Omana Regional Park is situated on a gently contoured knoll from which visitors can enjoy outstanding views of the inner Hauraki Gulf. An ideal family park with a shelly beach offering safe swimming at high tide, shady pohutukawa, walks to farmland and an intriguing pa site.

This project involves general maintenance of the parkland, including weeding and mulching and general maintenance of the amenity areas. There is a campsite and bookable BBQ/picnic sites which are so much more enjoyable if maintained properly.

Your team's hard work will be rewarded by this beautiful coastal location and maybe seeing some birdlife - you will probably see pied oystercatchers, shags and kingfishers at the coast and inland you may see tui, tiny grey warbler and fantail.
