Description:
This organisation is one of the largest restoration and environmental education providers in Auckland. A key objective is restoring the Eskdale catchment area and native bush in North Auckland, at the same time as increasing community engagement.
Your team will be able to get involved in a variety of tasks including work in the native plant nursery, potting up plants, weeding and composting, clearing rubbish from forests and streams, planting native trees (in the winter), monitoring pest traps and even enjoying a bush walk.
This is a chance to enjoy a day outdoors with your team, whilst working to restore the area to its natural beauty for everyone to enjoy.
As a charity this organisation relies on the generosity of funders, supporters, members and sponsors to run great restoration projects. They ask any corporate group volunteering to consider making a donation of $200 for a half day, or $350 for a full day. This is a voluntary donation but does help cover costs.
